Overview Travel Coordinator LOCATION: Redstone Arsenal, AL JOB STATUS: Full-time CLEARANCE: Secret Certification TRAVEL: N/A Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Travel Coordinator located at the Redstone Test Center in Huntsville, AL. Astrion has worked extensively with the Redstone Test Center and the Aviation Flight Test Directorate where it has earned a reputation for on-time delivery of high-quality services tailored to the needs of its clients. Required Qualifications / Skills Must have a high school diploma or GED and 7 years of applicable experience providing administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, document routing, and scheduling meetings. Ideal candidateHas superb verbal and written communication skills. Is thorough, detail oriented, and organized, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once. Exercises sound judgment and initiative while working independently. Preferred Qualifications / Skills Experience coordinating or booking travel. Costpoint experience. Experience gathering and reporting financial data. Exceptional customer relationship management highly desirable. Responsibilities Coordinate with JTS travelers and process travel requests for the Aviation Flight Test Directorate (AFTD) to various test locations CONUS and OCONUS. Collect, verify, and submit all AFTD JTS labor weekly. Work closely with the AFTD JTS buyer and test coordinators to track and correct materials charges as required. #CJ
