About the role

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 3+ years of experience and at least one completed travel contract for a facility using Epic EMR. This assignment is located in Sioux City, Iowa, with a start date of August 31, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Work in a CT Scan department at a trauma center facility
• Use Epic EMR for documentation and workflow

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience
• At least 1 completed travel contract
• Epic EMR experience required
• RT(R)(CT) certification preferred; RT(R) with Siemens experience preferred
• National certification and Iowa permit to practice required
• Active state license and certifications required at time of consideration
• Valid driver’s license required
• Work history/resume required
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required
• License verification required
• Copies of required certifications required
• One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required
• Candidates must not have been employed by the facility within the past 12 months
• Taxable address must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Schedule

• 40 hours per week, 5x8-hour shifts (variable schedule)
• Travelers are required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, or Thanksgiving)
• Limited to 1 day off request between 11/26/25–11/30/25 and 12/23/25–1/2/26 regardless of holidays worked
