Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Clinical Therapist for a contract opportunity in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves administering radiation therapy treatments, accurately positioning patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy (T).
• Active state license, if required by North Carolina.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• 1–2 years of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.

Active state license, if required by North Carolina.

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

1–2 years of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist.

Radiation Therapist Contract Details

$1,960 - $2,169 per week
13-week contract, with possibility of extension
40 hours per week
Clinic (outpatient) setting

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists.
• Accurately position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment to deliver safe, effective treatments.
• Maintain detailed records and monitor patient responses, adjusting treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and oncology nurses to ensure quality patient care.
• Provide patient education, reassurance, and support throughout the treatment process.
• Maintain compliance with all safety standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
