MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) for a contract position in Soldotna, Alaska. Specialty: Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS); Discipline: Allied Health Professional. Start date: October 12, 2026; Duration: 13 weeks; Hours: 40 per week; Shift: 10‑hour shifts, days and evenings; Employment type: Travel. Responsibilities

• Test blood and bodily fluids using complex laboratory equipment to obtain a wide variety of information.
• Examine specimens for bacteria, viruses, or parasites.
• Measure drug or chemical levels in the blood to help ensure medications are at therapeutic levels.
• Analyze the chemical content of blood to determine nutrient deficiencies or excesses of cholesterol or blood sugars.
• Utilize cell counters, cultures, microscopes, and other laboratory equipment.
• Follow laboratory protocols for analyzing, interpreting, and delivering test results.

Requirements

• Active certification through ASCP, AMT, HEW, or AAB.
• Minimum eighteen months of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Technician.
• A state license may be required.

Skills

• Basic grasp of scientific laboratory procedures, including operating laboratory equipment and generating reports from test results.
