Travel Clinic RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist - $2,177 per week

About the Role

Travel contract position for a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) in a kidney clinic in San Antonio, TX. The assignment is 9 weeks (13 weeks per shift details), starting ASAP, with 40 hours per week on day shifts (8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday).

Responsibilities

• Perform dietitian evaluations for patient nutritional status
• Conduct frailty testing
• Provide weight and lifestyle recommendations to transplant recipients (pre/post) and donors
• Participate in patient selection committee (approximately 1 hour, 4 days per week)

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) certification
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

Preferred Qualifications

• Transplant or renal experience

Work Environment

Outpatient kidney clinic with approximately 15–20 patients per day. Day shift staffing includes a charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1–3 sitters. Equipment provided: computer, dynamometer, handheld stopwatch. EMR systems: Teleresults and Meditech.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (40 hours/week). No weekends or on-call requirements.
