MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a quality Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients in Portland, Oregon. The assignment starts 10/26/2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their condition, usually focusing on the acute phase.
• Assist patients ranging from post‑surgical to near‑terminal in managing disease and treatment.
• Administer chemotherapy and implement new methods of symptom treatment.
• Monitor patient progress and create a supportive environment.
• Educate patients about treatment options, procedures, and particularities of the disease.
• May opt to specialize in areas such as pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care oncology setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.
