About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist with Level 4 NICU experience to join our team. This position requires a commitment to providing high‑quality care for neonatal and pediatric patients in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care in a Level 4 NICU setting.
- Administer treatments and therapies as per established protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver the best patient outcomes.
- Participate in clinical review and quality improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to unit policies regarding scheduling and patient care.
Schedule
- Night shift, 4×12‑hour pattern
- Available hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
- Every other weekend and holiday required
- Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays
- Self‑scheduling model: preferences considered, manager finalizes schedule
Qualifications
- Level 4 NICU experience required
- Cardiac PICU experience preferred
- RRT certification, BLS, and NRP required
- ACCS certification preferred
- Virginia license pending acceptable if temporary license obtained before start; must hold another state license for eligibility
Pay
Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
