About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care to join our pediatric respiratory care team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in providing high-quality respiratory care to patients across various pediatric units.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care and support for pediatric patients, including those in the NICU, PICU, and ER.
• Utilize Pyxis and Omnicell systems for medication administration.
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC system.
• Participate in weekend coverage as required, floating between units based on census needs.
• Perform tasks and competencies as documented and qualified.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric respiratory care settings, including ER and critical care.
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS, and an active RRT license in South Carolina.
• Strong clinical skills in respiratory therapy practices relevant to the pediatric population.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Shift Details

• Night shifts: 3 × 12‑hour shifts per week.
• Weekend coverage required every other week.
• Flexibility to float between different units and campuses based on operational requirements.

Pay

Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
