About the role
Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a position in Studio City, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a rehabilitation setting.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic activities to promote functional independence and improve quality of life.
- Document patient progress and communicate with interdisciplinary team members.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Valid California license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam.
- Comprehensive knowledge of occupational therapy practices and procedures.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in computer software relevant to occupational therapy.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
