About the role
A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) works under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to support patients in achieving independence in daily activities. Responsibilities include assisting with therapeutic exercises, providing hands-on treatment, and educating patients on adaptive strategies.
Responsibilities
- Assist with therapeutic exercises

- Work in settings such as hospitals, rehab centers, and nursing facilities
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
- Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
