About the role

Medlivo Therapy is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 14-week contract starting August 1, 2026 in Canaan, Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic activities to improve functional abilities and quality of life.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.
• Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant License.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
• Current CPR certification.
