Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - $1,578 per week

About the role

Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a contract assignment at a skilled nursing facility / long-term care facility in Fork, South Carolina. This is a 13-week position working 40 hours per week on 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into job performance
• Assist patients with rehabilitative activities and exercises outlined in a treatment plan developed in collaboration with an occupational therapist
• Assess the learning needs and capabilities of patients and caregivers with regards to age, level of understanding and emotional status
• Demonstrate and articulate sound clinical reasoning in treatment planning, implementation and monitoring of patient's progress
• Effectively collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients' goals

Requirements

• Associate's degree from an accredited school or a certificate from a community, technical, or vocational college
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant / Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA, or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure

Pay package is based on 8.0 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
