Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - $2,366 per week

Responsibilities

• Aid in the implementation of individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic activities and interventions to enhance patients' functional abilities, mobility, coordination, and independence.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress.
• Communicate treatment outcomes to the Occupational Therapist.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and proper use of equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current or eligible Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure/certification.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 0–2 years of experience in occupational therapy or a rehabilitation setting (new graduates encouraged to apply).
