About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week Hospital assignment in Tonasket, WA.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed occupational therapists in providing patient care
- Implement therapeutic activities to promote functional independence
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Experience working in an acute care hospital setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for occupational therapy and patient care
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in computer software for documentation and record-keeping
