About the role

A travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant position is available in Wichita, Kansas starting as soon as possible. The duration is 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, working 8-hour shifts. This role is part of a larger care team and involves assisting with rehabilitative services.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing and recording patient information
• Education of patients about their treatment plans
• Monitoring and assisting with activities
• Collaborating with the care team to ensure treatment effectiveness

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience in rehabilitative services
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
• Passing scores on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam
