A travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available in Saint Joseph, Missouri starting July 20, 2026 for 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing and recording patient information
• Educating patients about their treatment plans
• Monitoring and assisting with activities of daily living
• Collaborating with the larger care team to ensure treatment effectiveness

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience in rehabilitative services
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, 8 hours per shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
• Passing scores on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and principles

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
