About the role

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Baltimore, MD. The position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and a 5x8 day schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate patients’ functional abilities and develop treatment plans to improve their occupational performance.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to promote independence and participation in daily activities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
  • Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Current, valid MD professional license as an Occupational Therapist.
