About the role
Care Team Solutions is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP in Santa Clara, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in acute care settings.
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to improve functional abilities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Must have 2+ years of recent acute experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Valid state license to practice as an occupational therapist.
- Ability to work flexible hours including 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, and 13 weeks duration.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using medical terminology and equipment.
