About the role
LRS Healthcare - Allied is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting on August 10, 2026, in Tallahassee, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic activities to promote functional independence and quality of life.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Valid state license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
