Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a contract assignment in Avon, Indiana.
About the role
A great Skilled Nursing Facility / Long-Term Care (SNF / LTC) is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their team. This is a 13-week contract position with a days schedule, 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts).
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with rehabilitative activities and exercises outlined in a treatment plan developed in collaboration with an occupational therapist.
- Assess the learning needs and capabilities of patients and caregivers with regards to age, level of understanding, and emotional status.
- Demonstrate and articulate sound clinical reasoning in treatment planning, implementation, and monitoring of patient progress.
- Effectively collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients' goals.
- Incorporate the vision, values, mission, and critical goals of the organization into job performance.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree from an accredited school or a certificate from a community, technical, or vocational college.
- Current state license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) or actively in the process of obtaining licensure.
- Current CPR certification.

Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
