Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - $1,485 per week

Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Quincy, Illinois starting July 13, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a rehabilitation setting.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic activities to improve functional abilities.
• Document patient progress and communicate with interdisciplinary team members.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in computer software relevant to occupational therapy.

Skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and interventions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to different patient populations and settings.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
