Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - $1,484 per week

About the role

Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13‑week contract at a skilled nursing facility/long‑term care setting in Ashland, Wisconsin. The position is full‑time (40 hours per week) with an 8‑hour day shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with rehabilitative activities and exercises outlined in a treatment plan developed in collaboration with an occupational therapist.
• Assess the learning needs and capabilities of patients and caregivers, considering age, level of understanding, and emotional status.
• Demonstrate and articulate sound clinical reasoning in treatment planning, implementation, and monitoring of patient progress.
• Effectively collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients’ goals.
• Incorporate the organization’s vision, values, mission, and critical goals into job performance.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from an accredited school or a certificate from a community, technical, or vocational college.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) or actively pursuing licensure.
• Current CPR certification.

Pay
