About the role
This is a contract position for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) specializing in Occupational Therapist (OT) services. The role requires 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and a 5x8 Days schedule.
Responsibilities
- Incorporate the organization's vision, values, mission, and critical goals into job performance.
- Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Assist patients in achieving functional independence through activities of daily living.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans.
- Evaluate patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
Requirements
- 1 year of recent experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license within the state of practice.
- Occupational Therapist (OT) experience required.
Qualifications
Must be licensed or in the immediate process of obtaining Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure in the state of OR.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in using medical software are essential.
