Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - $1,459 per week

About the role

Assured Nursing is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13‑week assignment in Mitchell, South Dakota. The position starts ASAP, is full‑time (40 hours per week) on day shifts (8 hours, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM) and is a travel employment type. The COTA will provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT, following state/federal regulations and facility guidelines, and will assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions per OT plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely.
• Assist with patient and family education.
• Communicate patient status to supervising OT.
• Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
