About the role
Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13‑week contract in Murphy, North Carolina. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you’ll help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life.
Location highlights: Murphy offers mountain recreation, a walkable downtown with the Murphy River Walk and historic Henn Theatre, fishing and paddling on the Hiwassee and Valley Rivers, nearby Harrah's Cherokee Valley River, and access to Nantahala National Forest for hiking, rafting, and scenic mountain routes.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in regaining daily living skills under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
- Active state license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
