Uniti Med is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a position in Canaan, Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
• Assess patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans to improve their quality of life.
• Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Experience in providing occupational therapy services.
• Valid state license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Passing scores on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
