Travel Center Store Manager
About the role
LV Petroleum is seeking a Store Manager to lead operations in their fuel and convenience store industry. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience in convenience store, travel center, or retail operations.
Responsibilities
Oversight of all daily store operations including inventory management, cash handling, and store presentation to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and team members.
Recruit, hire, and train a high-performing team while building a culture of accountability, strong customer service, and consistent execution.
Coach and develop employees to maintain high standards and support long-term success.
Focus on delivering an excellent customer experience by creating a welcoming environment, addressing customer needs, and resolving concerns professionally and efficiently.
Drive store performance by supporting sales growth, implementing promotions, and ensuring operational standards are consistently met to achieve business goals.
Manage reporting including sales performance, inventory tracking, and employee performance metrics to support operational decisions and leadership reviews.
Ensure full compliance with company policies and all local, state, and federal regulations including health, safety, and operational requirements.
Requirements
A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in retail management or a similar role.
Proven ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze financial statements and work with budgets.
Comfortable working with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical requirements: must be able to stand for long periods, traverse the store as needed, lift and carry up to 50 pounds when required, operate cash registers and other store equipment effectively.
