Travel Center Porter

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize public restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas regularly
• Perform daily cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Auxiliary in setting up and breaking down events and meetings held at our facilities
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and alert management when reordering is necessary
• Support minor maintenance tasks and promptly report any significant issues to the maintenance team
• Engage with guests and staff positively, providing assistance when needed to ensure a welcoming atmosphere

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Prior experience in custodial or cleaning roles is advantageous, but not required
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
