Travel Center Assistant Manager

About the role

The Retail Assistant Manager oversees high-volume retail facilities, executing travel center and restaurant business plans to achieve sales, profit objectives, and customer satisfaction. You will build, coach, and develop teams while maintaining effective vendor relationships and driving a customer-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer expectations are met and maintain high standards of service
• Conduct meetings with subordinate employees and manage team performance
• Drive sales and perform P&L analysis to meet financial objectives
• Manage team members, including staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training
• Track inventory and maintain vendor relationships
• Provide exceptional customer service and foster a customer-focused culture

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, grocery, or a related service industry with financial responsibility
• Proven management proficiency in high-volume retail with P&L accountability
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, days, weekends, and holidays

Pay

Starting between $46,400.00 - $67,235.00 per year.
