About the role

The Registered Nurse in the Float Pool will provide high-quality patient care by floating between Critical Care Units (CCU), Medical/Surgical (MS) Units, and Rehabilitation Units as needed. The candidate must demonstrate clinical competence and flexibility in diverse care settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care across various units, ensuring safety and quality.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Float between units and care for COVID patients as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Active RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a tobacco and fragrance-free facility; notifications required prior to submission.

Schedule

• Night shift, 3x12 hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30).
• Every other weekend required.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
