About the role
Travel Cath Lab Technologist responsible for supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization lab.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields for cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures such as PCI, PTCA, and stent placement.
- Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms, recognizing and responding to life-threatening arrhythmias.
- Set up and ensure proper functioning of cath lab equipment.
- Support invasive procedures like left and right heart catheterizations.
- Administer medications, support sedation, and maintain infection control standards.
- Act as scrub and circulator during procedures.
- Provide post-procedure patient monitoring and care.
- Participate in on-call duties including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid Allied License (as applicable).
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and ARRT (R) or CCI (RCIS).
- Comfortable with on-call responsibilities, including weekends and holidays.
