Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Operate equipment used in catheterization labs
- Document patient information accurately
- Ensure sterile technique throughout procedures
Requirements
- BLS certification
- Cath Lab Technology certification
- Pass competency exam
- Active Tech license in Illinois
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a cath lab setting
- Proficiency in operating cath lab equipment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Manual dexterity
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong organizational skills
