Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,800 per week

Travel Cath Lab Technologist position in Barrington, Illinois. Start date ASAP for 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts.

About the Facility

G Shep – Interventional Platform Facility is a 176-licensed-bed hospital with Level 2 trauma center designation, Magnet Designation, and Primary Stroke Center status. The unit has 4 procedure rooms (pre/post area staffed by a different unit) and uses EPIC and MERGE charting systems. Travelers receive 1–3 days of orientation based on comfort level. Procedural scrubs and free onsite parking are provided.

• Combined Cath Lab/IR department with dedicated Cath and IR staff
• 2 years of Cath Lab experience required; IR experience preferred
• First-time travelers considered upon review

Patient Types & Procedures

• Cath Lab: Invasive cardiology, structural heart program, AAA repairs, TAVRs, ablations (required)
• IR: Non-invasive and invasive procedures, biopsies, peripheral interventions (preferred)

Staffing & Certifications

• 3-person procedure room team: 2 Nurses, 1 Tech
• Required Certifications:
  • RN: ACLS, BLS
  • IR Techs: BLS, ARRT-R, ACLS (preferred)
  • Invasive Cardiac Tech: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R
