Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,792 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 13-week cardiac cath lab assignment in California. The position requires 2+ years of cath lab experience, an active CA license, ACLS certification, and proficiency with cath lab procedures and technical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Interventional Radiology / Cardiac Cath Lab setting, providing support to cardiologists, radiologists, and RNs
• Support 4x10 hour day shifts with variable start times between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM
• Be on call as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Active CA license required (license required if applicable)
• Current ACLS and BLS required
• Valid Fluoroscopy Permit required

Qualifications

• Proficiency with cath lab procedures and technical analysis

Skills

• Technical support for procedures performed in the Interventional Radiology Lab
• Patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Mentoring and training students

Pay

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

40 hours per week, 4x10 hour day shifts with variable start times between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM, every 3rd weekend required, on-call required as needed.
