Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,762 per week

About the role

A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Cath Lab tech for a travel contract.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients.
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment and monitor patient conditions during procedures.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain accurate patient records.

Requirements

• 2 full years of experience as a Cath Lab technologist.
• Active BLS, ACLS, NIHFLUORO, and CA License.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized training program in cardiac catheterization technology.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating fluoroscopy equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
