Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Obispo, California.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
- Document patient data accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- 2 full years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
- Active BLS, ACLS, NIH and CA License.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a recognized training program in cardiac catheterization technology.
- Current registration as a Cath Lab Technologist in California.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating catheterization lab equipment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
