Requirements

• Current license in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab (CCL) by delivering technical support to the cardiac catheterization team.
• Deliver direct, safe, competent, and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assist in performing various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Communicate with patients, families, and physicians to address physical, general, and psychosocial needs.
• Work under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Operate ancillary equipment, anticipate and obtain catheters, wires, inventory, and medications as ordered during procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a patient‑focused environment of excellence, providing timely, compassionate care.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Weekly payment estimates include gross hourly wages plus reimbursements for meals, incidentals, and housing expenses.
