Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,686 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a contract position in Rapid City, South Dakota. The assignment starts October 26, 2026, lasts 13 weeks, and requires 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab (CCL) through technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization team.
• Provide direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assist in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians and coworkers to address physical, general and psychosocial needs.
• Function under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Assist cardiologist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment, anticipating and obtaining catheters, wires and other necessary inventory and medications as ordered.
• Assure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain an environment of excellence that is patient‑focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.

Requirements

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.

Qualifications

• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
