About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, including STEMI/NSTEMI, CTO, valvuloplasty, biopsies, atherectomies, staged PCI, IABP, and Impella procedures.
  • Manage peripheral diagnostic and interventional cases, including fistulograms.
  • Participate in hybrid procedures such as AAA grafts, thoracic grafts, clips, TAVR, and Watchman.
  • Work under a 1:1 patient ratio in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
  • Use advanced equipment including Alaris, Pyxis, GE C-arms, Volcano, St. Jude, EKOS, GE Pruka (Maclab) hemodynamics, Fuji and ProSolv PACS, and Maquet IABP.
  • Rotate through day and mid-shifts, with occasional weekend shifts and call required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab experience required.
  • RN candidates: current BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS preferred.
  • RTR candidates: current BLS, ACLS, ARRT(R), and WI license required; RCIS preferred; license required if applicable.
  • Proficiency in Cath Lab and peripheral vascular cases as listed.
  • RN candidates must have experience with conscious sedation and titrating/managing drips.
  • RTR candidates must be proficient in scrubbing and panning.
  • Epic EMR experience required.
  • Must provide at least 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the past year.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Rotating day/mid shifts; 8- or 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM–2:30 PM, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM, 12:00 PM–8:30 PM, or 6:00 AM–6:30 PM) or a combination to meet 40-hour weekly requirement.
