About the role
Remede Consulting Group is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Rockville, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of equipment used in the catheterization laboratory
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Participate in weekend call as required
Requirements
- BLS, ACLS, ARRT certifications
- MD License or equivalent
- RCIS certification with IR experience
- Weekend call required - 1 full weekend per month
- Must be able to respond to STEMI calls within 30 minutes of activation
- Guaranteed 2-hour call back
Qualifications
- No float between units required
- ASAP start possible
- On-call required - 15 shifts per month
- Open to accommodating a block schedule

- Proficiency in operating cath lab equipment

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of emergency protocols

Pay
The pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
