Experience Requirements Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Job Description The Cardiac Technologist is responsible for conducting X-rays and assisting in scrubbing Cath Lab cases. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performing left heart catheterizations (LHC) Executing right heart catheterizations (RHC) Handling device placements Managing peripheral and carotid interventions Call and Weekend Requirements Staff will be required to be on-call one weekday per week and one weekend every four weeks on a rotating schedule. Holiday coverage may also be assigned. Qualifications At least 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab is preferred. Current CPR/BLS certification. ACLS certification. Current Illinois Registered Nurse license. IEMA certification is required for the state of Illinois.
