Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,486 per week

Description

Acute care hospital cardiac cath lab setting with 5 suites: 2 dedicated to coronary cases, 1 for peripheral cases, 1 for vascular and neuro cases, and 1 for EP cases.

High-volume lab with an average of 10–22 cases per day across all suites.

Procedures include cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro intervention; facility is a STEMI-receiving facility.

Charting is performed in Cerner.

Shift: 12 hours, days

Hours: 36 hrs/wk

Start Date: Aug 3, 2026

Length: 16 weeks

Requirements

  • Current cath lab experience required
  • Active ARRT certification and Fluoroscopy permit required — RCIS and CCT certifications will not be accepted
  • Active BLS certification required; pending certifications are not accepted
  • Active state or compact (NLC) license required if applicable; pending licenses will not be accepted
  • Proficiency with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, and airway management
  • Experience with cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors, as well as balloon pumps
  • Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
  • A copy of a valid driver's license is required for consideration

About the Role

First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

A lead tech is responsible for room assignments within the lab.

A radiation badge is provided by the agency.

Qualifications

  • Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible;
  • Candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered;

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
