About the role
Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 17, 2026, in Joliet, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist in the insertion and removal of vascular access devices.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs during procedures.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
- Document procedures accurately and prepare reports for medical staff.
Requirements
- ARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
- ARRT- CI (Cardiac Interventional Technologist) or VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCI).
- Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Interventional Radiology department preferred.
- Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a cardiovascular technologist training program.
- Current certification as an Advanced Registered Cardiographic Technologist (ARRT-R) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- ARRT- CI (Cardiac Interventional Technologist) or VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCI).
- Experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Interventional Radiology department.
