The Cath Lab Technician assists cardiologists in cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring equipment functionality and patient safety. This position operates in fast-paced interventional suites where real-time imaging and hemodynamic monitoring are vital, specializing in cardiovascular technology for heart health diagnostics. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cardiovascular procedures, imaging technology, and sterile techniques, with experience in cath lab or critical care settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment for procedures like angiograms.
• Operate imaging equipment and monitor patient vital signs.
• Adhere to sterile techniques and infection control protocols.
• Manage inventory of cath lab supplies, including catheters and contrast agents.
• Document procedures in EHR systems like Epic or PACS.
• Perform maintenance and quality checks on imaging equipment.

Schedule
