About the role
The travel Cath Lab Technologist position is available in Brainerd, Minnesota.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, including patient positioning and equipment setup.
- Operate and maintain medical equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
- Document patient data accurately and efficiently using electronic health records systems.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiac Catheterization Technologist (RCC).
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a catheterization laboratory setting.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Skills
- Proficiency with medical imaging and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
