Job Summary
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position is located in the specialty area of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at the facility. This role involves assisting physicians with heart catheterization procedures, vascular interventions, device implantations, and electrophysiology (EP) procedures, utilizing specialized equipment within an acute care setting. The position requires a certified healthcare professional with a focus on sterile technique and cardiovascular procedures.
Job Details
Position Description: Assisting physicians with heart cath procedures, peripherals, pacemakers, ablations, monitoring vitals, and charting. Utilizing equipment such as Epic charting, MacLab, ACIST injector, CSI, Laser, Shockwave, balloon pumps, temporary pacemakers, Impellas, Carto.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI
- CPR/BLS certification
- ACLS (AHA)
- Minimum of 2 years scrub tech/sterile technique experience
- Experience with vascular, coronary, and device implant procedures
- EP procedures experience preferred
Schedule
- Days shift, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Call 1-2 times per week
- Every 4th weekend
- Late team responsibilities 1-2 times per week
- Floating to other units/departments may be required
