MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified agency, is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13‑week contract at a top healthcare facility in Poughkeepsie, New York. The assignment starts 11/16/2026, runs 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization team and direct, safe, competent patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assist in performing invasive cardiac and peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and co‑workers to address physical, general, and psychosocial needs.
• Function under the immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Operate ancillary equipment, anticipate and obtain catheters, wires, inventory, and medications as ordered during procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a patient‑focused environment of excellence with timely, compassionate care.
• Promote a safe work environment incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.

Requirements

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
