Hospital-based cardiac cath lab setting
Procedures include diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath, IABP, IVUS, Impella, biopsies, CVC, PICC, tunneled HD catheters, fistulograms, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, drain placements, ureteral stents, nephrostomy tubes, thrombectomies, thrombolysis, Y-90 treatments, and embolizations
Equipment includes Siemens C-Arm (single and bi-plane) and GE ultrasound
EMR is Epic; Omnicell experience is also utilized
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience; 2+ years preferred, with at least 1 year in an interventional cardiac cath, NeuroIR, IR, or EP lab preferred
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Associate Degree in Applied Sciences; Bachelor of Science Degree preferred
- Current ARRT certification
- Current IEMA licensure (Illinois license must be in hand — no emergency or pending licensure); license required if applicable
- Current BLS through the American Heart Association
- AHA-certified ACLS (preferred at hire; required within 6 months)
- Experience with Epic and Omnicell
- Two references required for consideration, including at least one from a Supervisor, Manager, or Charge RN within the past year
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
About the Role
Perform interventional and diagnostic cath lab procedures including cardiac catheterization, IR, and special procedures across a broad range of modalities
Vaccination status is required for consideration
Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
