  • Minimum Years of Experience required: 2 years
  • Will you accept a first-time traveler? Send for manager approval for 1st time traveler
• Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
  • Cardiac, Pulmonary, Vascular
  • No high acuity procedures
  • PCI, L and R heart caths, tunnel caths, port placements
• Required License, National Certification, Certs:
  • BLS
  • ARRT-R
  • State license
• Skills required:
  • Cath Lab experience
  • Comfort monitoring patients preferred
  • Must be able to scrub, set up for procedures
• Support within the Department:
  • Manager
  • 2 cardiologists, 1 vascular surgeon
  • 4 techs
  • 4 nurses plus charge
• Technology/Equipment:
  • EMR: Cerner preferred
  • IV Pump: Plum 360
  • Med dispensing: Omnicell
  • Hemodynamic: McKesson preferred
  • Unit specific equipment: room 1 Phillips, room 2 GE Cath Lab
  • Floating: No
• Orientation (facility and unit):
  • NEO
  • 2-3 days of orientation
• Scheduling:
  • Weekend rotation: every other weekend
  • On call? If so, what is that schedule?
  • 6-week schedule, expect 16-18 call shifts, this includes weekend shifts
  • Open to working 10- or 12-hour shifts
  • Holiday Expectations: potential to be on call
  • Approval of RTO: NM approval
