Requirements

Education

• Minimum: Formal 2-year radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school which meets requirements for registry by the ARRT
• Basic EKG Course
• Preferred: BS in Radiology or equivalent

Experience

• 2 years experience in an Acute Care hospital
• 1 year current experience providing Cardiac Cath, Radiology Care

Certification/Licensure

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in computed tomography; OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
• ARRT
• State license if required
• American Heart Association BLS
• ACLS
